Duties:
- Create and support the maintenance, and retirement of Services (within their scope) in the Service Model
- Support the creation, maintenance, and retirement of Configuration Items (CIs) (within their scope) in the CMDB Model
- Support the creation, maintenance, and retirement of Change Management templates and checklists (within their scope)
- Abide by and ensure appropriate application of data standards and conventions
- Educate and consult staff in service model / CMDB / Change template and checklist principles, standards, processes and procedures
- Perform service / CI / change template and checklist verification (monitor, consult and advise on standards and conventions)
- Collaborate with Process and Solution Teams to provide feedback and communicate requests as well as educate and communicate information back to their functions
- Contribute to analysis, design, reviews of changes or enhancements to data structures or common elements
- Raise concerns and/or escalate issues to Process Teams
Requirements:
- Ability to understand and support multiple processes and data elements
- Attention to detail to apply and review data for compliance to standards and conventions
- Ability to communicate, consult and educate on intent and standards for data ownership and management
- Ability to manage conflict and raise concerns / issues in a timely manner
- Understanding of data modeling and IT data constructs
- Understanding of ITSM service / system lifecycle processes
