What is the project about:

Currently, we are looking for talented developers who take ownership of their code and help us to create outstanding solutions for a worldwide financial institution. We want to rebuild the existing system into a new one. All features and functionalities will be redesigned and based on cutting-edge technologies and best practices (Java 8, SpringBoot, React, Node, TDD, Agile).

What is the project about:

  • Examine code and execution of code in various environments
  • Verify specific actions and functionality & maintain database of bugs and resolutions
  • Develop and document test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications and create meaningful error handling procedures
  • Help ensure compliance with general programming best practices
  • Provide test results with supporting data to facilitate decision making
  • Work with the team to provide effective solutions for regression testing.

Requirements:

  • Defining testing activities for subordinates – testers or test engineers
  • Knowledge of and experience in current software testing industry and best practices
  • Familiarity with standard bug reporting tools such as Jira, Bugzilla or ClearQuest
  • Ensuring that the team has all the necessary resources to execute the testing activities
  • Ensuring that testing is going hand in hand with the software development in all phases
  • Preparing the status report of testing activities
  • Interacting with customers
  • Providing updates to project manager about the progress of testing activities.
