Key duties:

• Troubleshooting and error analysis;
• Base contact person around all Unix or UC4 requirements;
• Implement of UC4-scheduling;
• Shell scripting;
• Problem analysis and escalation;
• Specifying, developing, setting up and maintaining design and integration environment;
• Preparation and implementation of version changes within the technical environment;
• Designing hotfix procedures, planning and monitoring of the implementation;
• Concept for optimization / reduction of downtimes;
• Ensuring data interworking and connectivity of 3rd party products;
• Writing and maintaining technical documentation to describe development, logic, coding, testing changes and improvements;
• Coaching of junior colleagues, actively contributes to knowledge sharing and to a learning culture;
• Innovating software development processes.

 Must have:

• At least 3-4 years of experience with at least one of Unix environments like SOLARIS, RedHat or Linux;
• Good knowledge of implementation server side scripting like shell scripts;
• Good knowledge of UC4-Schedule scripting and analyzing;
• General knowledge about local project management and software engineering processes;
• Business understanding (e.g. ensuring that technical solution are simple, reliable and cost effective);
• Optional: Base knowledge in HPQC, TFS;
• Fluent in English and if possible in German, spoken and written.
