Responsibilities:
- you take substantial responsibility for Materials Management and Warehouse Management problem resolution and communication
- you take initiative particularly in non-conformance of Materials Management and Warehouse Management processing and system errors
- you document the reporting, investigation and outcome of all problems reported for agreed partners
- you ensure that required data is available for use by those carrying out investigations and ensuring that actions are correct
- you evaluate (in the first instance) the impact of defects and problems
- you keep relevant stakeholders (internal and external) informed of status of SAP MM/WM initiatives, by direct or delegated production of reports
- you ensure departmental processes are followed and adhered to
- you verify that agreed actions relating to problem investigation and clearance, are taken within the agreed timescales
Requirements:
- preferably a recognised business qualification
- SAP knowledge in the modules MM/WM is a must, certifications therefor are beneficial but not a must
- educated to degree level
- ideally you should have a minimum of two years SAP MM/WM project and system experience
- automotive Supply Chain experience is very beneficial
- ability to work on own initiative
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability and willingness to provide knowledge transfer to others
- ability to prioritise and understand business impact of IT system
- must have good communication skills
- must have a flexible working approach
